• General Certification Requirements: BLS, R.EEG T.
• CLTM (Certified in Long Term Monitoring) preferred

  • Specialty: EEG Magic Valley Hospital Flr 1
  • Providing EEG services to a 250+ bed facility that is currently expanding the program
  • Job includes covering the whole hospital for patient monitoring
  • Preforming studies like Epilepsy, ICU, Pediatrics
  • Work duties include the need to be comfortable in all realms, all age groups and all disabilities
  • Adaptability to work with a variety of department-specific equipment
  • EMR Used: EPIC
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have LTM (long term monitoring) experience
    • Experience with all Pediatric age levels
    • Comfortable using Collodion Glue
      • Schedule Information
      • 8 hour shifts, variable start times with the first being 7AM
      • Shifts may change as the department grows
      • 4 - 9 hour shifts. variable days
      • On Call for holidays. No nights
      • Weeknight/Call Requirements: Variable, do not have standard night shifts
      • Weekend/Call Requirements: Variable, with program growth may need weekend coverage
      • Holiday/Call Requirement: Coverage is required on holidays
      • Call response time: Within 30 minutes
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: EEG Magic Valley Hospital
        • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience with all Pediatric age levels
        • Average # of scans/studies per day varies - 3-5 scans per tech per day
        • Department Specific Equipment: Natus
        • Lead Tech on each shift available
        • 1-2 weeks of unit/department specific orientation
        • Services expanding to 24/7
        • Increasing the number of portable machines
          • Additional Details
          • Good customer service skills
          • Ability to get along with a small team
          • No specific scrub color, plain with no patterns or neon colors. No Grey scrubs
