Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Labor and Delivery
- Discipline: RN
- Shift: 12 hours, days, nights

Labor and Delivery recent 3 years experience required
ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) RN license covid card and 2 supervisior reference

# OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections? "2 CS Suites on the floor.
2 PACU Recovery Bays on the floor. "
# See 4-5 triage patients per day that go home. Variable, we average 5-6 deliveries/day, 150-180 delievers/month
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring- Intermediate or Advanced OR Certified in Fetal Monitoring (through NCC) "
Common diagnoses/Types of patients 30+ wks, will stablize and shipout babies under 30 wks
Must have the ability to work with high risk patients
Will NOT accept travelers with only Critical Access Hospital experience
Prefer Epic experience- please call out the last time they used Epic"
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? "Charge nurse- does not take a patient assignment unless absolutely necessary; They also try to staff the unit with a Resource Nurse when able.
Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager have coverage on both shifts, but are not in house 24/7. Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? "OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? "OB in house during the day Monday-Friday, on-call at night;
Neoatologist is onsite during the day and Neo APP coverage at night"
CRNA in house 24/7 for OB
RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) RT available 24/7. RT will administer resp treatments and manage equipment, as needed
Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? What brand are the tele monitors? "EFM System EPIC- CPN, GE Connect
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Per policy staff and travelers cannot work more than 5 shifts in a row.
Travelers are asked to stay flexible and help fill gaps in permanent scheduling. "
Weekend Requirements "EOW
Nights- Fri & Sat"
Holiday Requirements May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation
L&D and PP/MB are primary units. Can be floated throughout the hospital for sitter shifts when necessary. Travelers are typically the first to float for sitter shifts.
Unit/Department specific orientation 3 days of orientation with a preceptor in L&D and PP/MB
The providers have great working relationships with the nursing staff.
Level 3 NICU that supports 30+ wks.
Resource Nurse- does not take a patient assignment unless absolutely necessary, will assist with triage, caring for baby at deliveries, assisting staff, and more.
