  • A hospital in Southern Idaho is in need of a Certified Sterile Processing Tech to work a travel assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS, CRCST
    • - Required Certifications: CRCST/CBSPD
    • Common Cases: General, Gyn, Davinci, Cysto, ENT, Ortho/Totals, Vascular, Spine, Lap (Endo is separate).
    • Department covered: Sterile Processing
    • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with Davinci - Cleaning. Minimum 1 Year (preferably 4+). Travel experience (ideal).
    • Duties: Assembling instrument trays, but they can be in Decontam, running sterilizers.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: Days: 8a-430p or Swing 2p-1030p, occasional nights- varies starts 7-330, manager to make schedule
      • 6-8 staff on at a time depending on the shift, some over lap.
      • Weeknight/Call Requirements: rare, to meet department needs.
      • Weekend/Call Requirements: rare, to meet department needs.
      • Holiday/Call Requirements: rare, to meet department needs.
      • Orientation : 1 week orientation with preceptor and additional training after that.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Central Sterile Processing - Floor 2
        • Common equipment to disinfect/common supplies to sterilize: Prevac - Steam. Sterrad - NX and 100NX. Resert - HLD.
          • Additional Details
          • This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, we will require the candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
